Congratulations to Dr. Nancy Cantor, Chancellor, Rutgers-Newark, who was recently honored by Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ) at its “Salute to the Policy Makers” 2014 Awards Dinner on May 8!
Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ) is the region’s leading not-for-profit organization promoting women’s executive leadership in business and on corporate boards. The EWNJ sponsors a biennial Salute to the Policymakers Dinner, the purpose of which is to honor the contributions of outstanding New Jersey women leaders from private as well as public sectors.
Proceeds from the Salute to the Policy Makers awards dinner are used to fund scholarships for women enrolled in graduate programs in New Jersey’s institutions of higher learning as well as other programs to advance women. Since the scholarship program’s inception in 1986, Salute Dinner funds have provided over $1,200,000 in scholarships to more than 400 outstanding New Jersey women.
