Amy Delman provides insight on the value public and media relations bring
Amy Delman, Owner, Amy Delman Public Relations, LLC, a boutique public relations consultancy, was recently a guest on the ‘Experts Speak ‘show.
Delman’s several years of experience in the PR industry allowed her to discuss the importance of media exposure and the value of long-term media connections. Amy spoke about public and media relations being a door opener for her clients. She elaborated:
“Once you are featured or written about in the media, more times than not, competitive shows and outlets want to interview you as well. You become a credible entity.”
Amy talked about her different types of clients:
“I have two sets of clients. I have my retained clients that pay me and I have my media contacts that allow me to stay in business. Each are dear to me and essential to the work I do.”

Amy Wachtel Delman has her own public relations consultancy and has been involved in public relations, marketing, and branding for almost three decades. Her expertise lies in using media exposure to raise awareness and increase revenues in companies where she has worked in-house or as a consultant. She has been mentioned in several publications over the years including The New York Times, The Star-Ledger, NJBIZ, Inc. magazine and the National Journal of Public Relations.
Additionally, Amy has been writing poetry since she was a young girl.
